"Art is what sells" - market value
To this topic there can be found an instructable online with the title How to make art. It is quite interesting and a valid option to "make art" this way, although I'm not quite sure how serious to take the author. There's a certain irony to it. As a critique: This is a very simplified model. There are many other options that don't get mentioned and that I would consider more useful. But on the other hand the simplicity is compelling. Maybe I should try to make a tutorial myself one day ;-) In any case, the following are the six steps to "make art":
- Justify your existence (some art history)
- Getting away with it (explain yourself)
- Chicken or the egg (two approaches to choose from in making art)
- Now make something
- Self-promotion-a-go-go
- Reap the benefits
