painting 10x10cm - 1
This painting and the ones in the following posts are a gift for my mother. The paintings are based on photographs but show only a small section. Sometimes it's just fun to paint 'decorative' themes like flowers :-)

Erlangen ComicSeminar - part 5
Above some sketch pages. Until the seminar in Erlangen I din't do (m)any sketches for quite some time. I prefer to draw directly, without sketching. But to develop and visualize ideas the sketch is still very useful.

Erlangen ComicSeminar - part 4
This picture isn't going to be used at all, but I still like it. It's based on an old black and white photography.

Erlangen ComicSeminar - part 3
The last picture is only going to be used partially, because in the final layout there's not enough space for all the drawings.

Erlangen ComicSeminar - part 1
The Seminary took place from 1. to 6. of July 2012
What I did during this intense time:
- complete the concept of a 12 page story
- draw most of the individual ink drawings and sketch out the remaining parts
What still needs to be done:
- draw the last drawings, finish all page layouts
- put in all the text (handwriting)
- colour the pages
- print it / publish it
... sooo, still a lot! But until I'm done, I'll show some drawings (not yet integrated in the page layout):
